The US Reaper 6.5 on my 6.5PRC and 6 Creed is fantastic.

Would really like to try the AL ZG 6.5 on those guns as well.

Have you compared an OG 6.5 to your Reaper 6.5? The OG 65 is one I wish we could have had in the comparison.
The Reaper was def a step up from the Scythe. I think the brake may be an overall negative (small cals at least)

Yes it is in the airlock thread, max suppression ~7". On the back burner for now but hopefully next year.

Was not impressed with the scythe at all, and wow the tbac ultra 5 was horrible! It’s like the ultra 5 and 7 are totally different animals.

Not yet. OG 6.5 coming soon. I do have an OG30 on my 22 Creedmoor shooting 80 grain bullets. It’s a bit louder than my 6 Creed shooting 115s with the Reaper 6.5. Not really sure if that’s expected or not. Would seem like no but I’m also not the best “ear” for testing either I suppose.

30 years of drums and live performances plus shooting for nearly my whole life makes me say “huh?” way more than I’d like to.

My honest bias leans towards US/UM just from listening to their podcast etc. but it just was not a question to me that the ZG was whiter and sounded “better” than the Reaper. Being the shooter it was less of a difference vs a bystander.

I’ve ran a gen1 ultra 5 .30cal for a while now, It’s a loud can. My buddy has a gen2 ultra 7 .30cal and I agree it’s on a different level.

You need ear pro with the U5. It is not safe IMO. It’s a backup can for recoil now for me.

Now I really want to test out the AL 6.5 next to my TI XC. I do have the 6.5 end cap on my XC and a TI direct thread adapter. Makes the TI XC something like 8.6oz.

Have an ultra 9 gen 1 from way back when, it's sweet, but man it's long.

I’ll be very curious how that one stacks up to the ZG 7. I was pretty set on getting a specific 6.5 suppressor until actually shooting and listening to the 7. Now I’m being a professional waffler and I’m starting to think I might get the Airlock ZG 7 instead.
