Yeah, I was telling people about that, about four or five years ago, or so. Nobody did anything about it, though. The State of Alaska and the US Fish & Wildlife Service and the Department of Agriculture don't care much about Alaska's sheep. Neither do residents, for the most part.

Respiratory Pathogen Confirmed for First Time in Alaska Dall's Sheep and Mountain Goats: Press Release, Alaska Department of Fish and Game

They released it earlier today. Prop 90 was the proposal that potentially would have put in safeguards. Opposition groups claimed it had too many holes and data gaps. The board agreed and sent it back to the drawing board. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Bummer... hope this gets worked out with science behind the decision vs. emotion. Hate to to see this spread...
