RESILIENT JOLENE S

Well, I bought the Jolene S last week and it was out of Jail in 3 days, today I’m in MT sighting in my new 300wby 26” barrel backcountry and a new Weatherby 307 Alpine ct 6.5 prc 22” barrel. I was doing the Weatherby break in, 3 shots clean… repeat…. Repeat….

Taking the can off and swapping between the 2 riffles with time to cool between. Well after about 12 rounds through each riffle, I was on my 300wby of the sudden I wasn’t on the paper anymore as I did switch brands of ammo doing groups… I looked at the end of the suppressor and it was F’ed up! And yes the suppressor was tight, and threaded all the way flush with the barrel. It’s not like I shot 30 rounds and never checked it.

The worse part there’s NO customer support number to call, it’s fill out the form and hope someone reaches out to you. I google the hell out of the company looking for a phone number. I call Silencer shop… and talked with them and again they didn’t have a phone number. So we’ll see what the end result is… I just know when I had a SilencerCo issue with my specwar 556, I called them on a Monday they sent me an overnight shipping label. Mailed it on a Tuesday and had it back on a Friday, all fixed.
Thats a major bummer, I agree that them not having an actual phone number sucks. I wonder what causes an issue like that; debris from a baffle strike?

I have been using my Jolene S on a whole bunch of different guns. I have several hundred rounds through it on my target 6.5CM and it has been is flawless. I even put it on an AR15 with a DD 1/2x28 hub. It was good too.

My Jolene S now primarily resides on my 300BO and with subsonic ammo, it is very quiet - well below hearing safe. As a hunting suppressor it is a very good value. My full sized Hyperion is a better one for target shooting though. My hunting suppressors are now an DD Enticer STi, DD DTF STi and I just ordered a B&T Print X Hunting to try. If the Print X is lacking, it will go on the 300BO and the Jolene S will go into my hunting rotation.

Ah man that sucks.

For what it’s worth, I had more luck reaching out to their Instagram page with a question. They NEVER got back to me after I emailed their handy little customer service deal on their website. I agree that it’s extremely lame to not have a number listed and that alone would keep me from buying a second Jolene S or another one of their cans…

Send a message to them on IG and see if they get back to you. Best of luck.

That does suck for sure. I think a lot of the younger generation customer service/marketing people are hired for their social media prowess. While that is important, they tend to ignore the less modern versions of communication like voice and email. They just want to "talk" through an app. Just my opinion...

Hey John,

First i would like to apologize for the experience you had with the suppressor. Sometimes things happen and stuff slips by. There are some things like material impurities that we cant always see or catch (we use certified material). In this case we haven't seen your suppressor yet so we cant determine what the cause was.

As for the not having a phone number. We are a two person company. I am the owner, and i wear all the hats. In no way is this excuse, but we are not a 70 million dollar a year company like silencer co. So we cannot offer a phone service throughout the day. As we are a small business and trying to expand at a safe rate.

I don't feel our customer service has been at any way an issue as i responded to your initial email within one minute or less. I also sent you a shipping label this morning to get the suppressor returned for repair. From initial email to label sent was 16hrs and 21 mins.

If there is anything you or anyone else may need please feel free to reach out to me via email, facebook, reddit, Instagram, contact form, or through your dealer and now on this forum. All contacts go to me.

I speak for myself only, but an active forum presence is as good as a phone number

I might say it's better, I freaking hate being stuck on the phone or being forced to call anyone for CS lol. If I can buy online without talking on the phone then I should be able to do everything else without being forced to use the phone too.

I ordered a Ramblin' Man last week to use with the 35 Whelen I am putting together. My other 2 suppressors are TBAC Ultras. I an looking forward to comparing.

Hey @tyler_resilientsup, for use on a 358 (35 Whelen) and 300s and smaller would the Ramblin' Man perform better with the 9mm & 7.62mm Endcaps than the 46 cal that comes with the suppressor ?

100%

As for the 35 Whelen we haven’t tested it on that caliber. Largest calibers being 458 Socom, 45-70 and 338 Lapua.

Curious to hear about it.

I'll let you know. If it works well on a 338 Lapua it should work well on a necked up 30-06!

Sorry should have asked how big is the hole in the 9mm end cap?

Well, they were pretty quick to send me a prepaid label and it’s shipped off as of yesterday we’ll see how it goes from there

The Jolene and the Jolene S both come with 5/8" fixed thread? No hub to change to get to 1/2" with out an adapter?

It is hub compatible. My buddy just changed his to 1/2" with the Rearden mount.

Resilient has them available on their website I believe.
