Replacement ultralight camp shoes

Looking at the bottom of yours I’d say the pair I have might be lighter by an oz. lots of use around the house. They are Mexican slicks now. Time for another pair!

Ha,ha, mine haven’t seen very much in the way of hard soil.

My foot measures 10-1/2" I usually wear a 9.5-10 depending on shoe. I went 10-11.

If your a 9.5 I would not go 8-9.

I love the Hounds. Mine are slicks now too, need replaced. I keep wearing them to the river fishing and man they are slick against the aluminum boat when it gets wet. I really feel the gravel now too when I walk across the driveway. I've had them 2 years and wore them quite a bit working around the house, as camp shoes, and fishing. Even running the tractor baling hay on those 100 degree days I wear them and my really thin old Core 4 Element pants but I have my boots and socks along in case I have breakdowns.

Merrell bought Cushe and still make them the same just under the merrell brand.

Typical, I went to go replace my Cushe M's backpack camp shoes that are falling apart and of course they are out of business and no longer available.

Any recommendation on a replacement similar to the Cushe M's that are lightweight?

The hounds I see people recommending on here might be okay, but I typically don't need a camp shoe for crossing rivers.

Thanks

Where can you find them, I see nothing on Merrell's website that resembles a cushe shoe? Merrell is owned by Woliverine Worldwide best I remember and I thought Wolverine decided to shut down the cushe line in 2015. I'd like to get some it they still make them.

I don’t know what cushy Ms are but I just use a worn out pair of Merrill Barr access shoes. They are lightweight, dry fast and comfortable.

I guess you are right, I was under the impression that they were still being sold, been a little while since I've been out of the footwear area.

Wanted to pull this back up. Was out shopping for some crocs for a hunt today. Ran across these and weighed them side by side with a normal croc. They are about a half ounce heavier (1 ounce or so for the pair) but I liked the ability to strap them on if I was crossing a creek or something. Think they are called the swift water. Thought I would share if anybody could use the info.
