Replacement for nightforce SHV

I emailed about this a while back and even asked if the order was large enough would they make it, they just referred me to the NXS 2.5-10x42.

I also so them a polite request to add a MIL reticle option to the SHV 3-10 and got a polite "no"

I heard last week from a dealer for them that they are discontinuing the SHV line.

In Aug of 2024 I talked to a NF rep at a show. He said the NXS was going to be DQ'd by the end of 2024, and a new line would be announced at SHOT 2025. None of that turned out to be true...

Gotcha…I’m mostly interested in the illuminated duplex, personally wish it wasn’t illuminated and just a plain duplex or German #4 but beggars can’t be choosers

The ended up launching the NX6 line. A paired down, lighter weight hunting oriented version of the NX8. Still not even close in price range or bang for your buck as the SHV. For them to not make a killer scope by updating the SHV with some modern niceties is such a missed opportunity.
