Replace Worn-Out Muck Boots With???

Muck boots don’t last as long as they used to for sure. still are more comfortable for me than any Lacrosse I’ve tried on.

I’ve got Bog, Xtratuf and Dryshods here in rainy Oregon. I prefer fishing in Xtratufs on boats. Dryshod for everything else.

Xtratuf deck boots are standard footwear for most of the fishing guides and boat captains on my part of the gulf coast as well as Key West. I have an old pair of the 12” uninsulated deck boot by xtratuf, far more foot fitting than any burly or muck I have owned.

I started with lacrosse years ago, then went to muck, then bog,the back to lacrosse. I had multiples on each as I normally can’t get more that a 3 or so years out of them. I wanted to try dryshod this last time but they don’t make my size in the one I want.
Lacrosse has been the longest lasting.
I loved the fit of the mucks but the would fall apart in a couple years.
The one pair of bogs I had was a joke.

Muck has (maybe had) a crazy good sale going on. The edgewater, marsh, and a couple other full length boots were on sale for 50 bucks with free shipping in about all sizes. Me and my buddies bought a bunch of pairs.
