I'm selling my house and need to do a little patch work in the basement before the appraisal. The house was built in 1938, and the foundations is cement/stone with blocks above grade. There are a few small sections that are crumbling. There is no structural damage, but I would like to make it more visually appealing for the appraiser and buyers. I've watched a bunch of videos where guys are using a Portland cement, sand and fiberglass mixture to patch exterior walls. Could the same mixture be used on the interior walls?

Any other thoughts on what could be used to patch/fill the crumbling areas?

There is a product called Adrex that is fabulous. Comes in a dry bag from industrial supply or masonry houses. Mix up and put on a hand board. Trowel on flat with a smooth edge hand trowel. Sets up pretty fast so you need to work fairly quickly. Contains some kind of epoxy product, Very strong stuff that adheres well and does not shrink. Get it smooth with trowel...it is very difficult to sand. I used an electric hand grinder with flexible pad to detail out.

This stuff is bionic. Most of the other concrete patches are just that and tend top come off over time.

Can it be painted over once dry? What color is it when dry?

Any idea which of the Ardex products you used? I would like something that is specifically designed to be used for patching/filling vertical holes and cracks.
