Finally drew my 1st choice tag for the last 6 years. Problem is between when I applied and when I drew it my company shipped me off to southern Mississippi.... it’s been a crazy 3 months.

On the advice of another member I’m flying to Vegas, renting a truck and driving 4 hours north. My Reckoning looks a little bigger than the carry on limit, but ain’t nobody said anything yet.

In the lucky chance I end up successful on this 4 day adventure... does anyone know a processing place that could ship it to me or hold it until I come back during elk season? (Yea I drew that damn tag too... )

It’s good to read about people getting in the field! Two weeks yet and I am leaving, I would say the countdown begins but that has been going since February 😀

I posted this in your other thread:
"You will drive up 318 through Hiko and Lund, not 93 through Panaca and Caliente, saves 45 minutes to Ely. I saw a good buck antelope in your area just south of 50 around Newark Velley. Not in my area or I would have tried for it. I was returning to Ely from Eureka on 50. "

I suggest John Mull's 3730 Thom Blvd in Vegas, 702-645-1200 for the meat. While I have not used them, Werner Family Taxidermy was at the DOW seminar on 'lopes, 702-558-2825.
