Removing blue loctite residue from scope tube

Hi All, I got a bit of blue loctite residue on my scope tube (see image). Going to sell this scope to my dad and want to get it cleaned up. How would you all go about removing this loctite residue?

I’ve always just used WD 40 to remove most of it and the white scotch brite. It won’t cut thru the anodize unless your rubbing it for hours.

i about made a leupold glow trying to get a premier booster off. they used a torch and it is good as new.

Always start with the mildest method like isopropyl alcohol and work your way up to an acetylene torch and a sledgehammer.

More blue locktite. It will dissolve itself or at least loosen it up.
