Remove trashy ass CHRISTENSEN logo

Ok, I may get some flack but I just picked up a CA Mesa from a Cabelas for cheap. It seems OK but man that trashy ass logo on the bottom of the magazine cannot survive long term.

Assuming this has bothered other people, has anyone else tried scrubbing it off / replacing it that eyesore.

Can't say that I've tried to take it off but I have passed on a couple of CA rifles because of it.
Definitely the "WalMart" look on a rifle.

It’s aluminum, take a sander to it and it will remove it, or rather the coating around it. Just rattle can it after or cerakote it if you want to pay the extra.

I haven't thought about removing it but rather just plan on replacing it on mine. It does seem gaudy.

I'm pretty sure CA bottom metal is a special size.
I think depth. When you order a custom stock CA metal is a box you would select.

I don't think its a decal. I think it is lazer etched

I had a Rem 700 bottom metal that was lazer etched into the coating, media blasting took it right off.
