For the life of me I can’t get the extension tube off my Banish 30. I’ve soaked it in solvent, hit it with cleaner directly on the threads, and have tried (softly) using channel locks that scratched it. Any suggestions?

Rubber strap wrench and plastic jaws in a vise is how I got mine off.

The front cap is stuck on mine in the 7” configuration. I gave up on it, it lives on my truck gun and bumps around the floor of my Tacoma.

For a stuck front cap - a Torx 45 socket with impact driver.
You'll need to really lean into it, a rubber jawed vice and strap wrench will help

Word of caution using a vise, you can oblong the tube and you won't be happy. I had a machinist buddy make aluminum jaws 1/8 " larger in diameter lined with rubber. I go very gently on the jaws , just enough to hold it.

Well the rubber strap wrench didn’t work. I called them and they said that those tricks should have so send it in for warranty. Now I’m trying to decide if I risk sending it in before deer season and hope I get it back or just wait.
