Remington 700 help
Hi, I'm 17 and I've been looking for a new hunting rifle. I have used a 30-06 the last few years and it's been a great rifle but now I've decided on a 7mm mag. I want a Remington 700 and I'm debating on two different models. The SPS Stainless and the Sendero SF 2. I know the Sendero is a precision rifle and is really good quality but I have also heard that it is heavy. I hunt mule deer in Southern Oregon where it is pretty open but I also hunt elk in western Oregon where there is thick timber and lots and lots of hills. I have heard mixed reviews about the SPS Stainless but I like the fact that it is lighter. What are your opinions on this? Do you think the Sendero is a good hunting rifle or is it more of a range gun? Do you think it would be a problem packing around? Also what are your opinions on the SPS stainless. If I did get the SPS Stainless then I might consider changing the stock. Do you know of any stocks that are good quality but also light weight? Sorry for all of the questions, but any advice helps!
