cant, this is the rifle both my kids shot their first deer with. my daughter wants it for a pronghorn and deer gun. Im pretty sure I am gonna go with the bell carlson mountain, no magazine but has everything else I want. I do love the manners and might go with it if its still around but gotta wait til pay day

Just something to keep in mind for the future, if you do decide to go with a BDL setup, you can get the whole kit from Redhawk Rifles for about $240 (bottom metal, mag box, follower, spring, and action bolts). That would be about the same as the cheapest DBM option plus one discounted AICS mag, so it may be a wash for you.

Your best bet is to get the B&C for now and start saving up and watching various classifieds for someone to post up a deal like the one I linked to where they have the stock and bottom metal together.

I have uses the magpul stuff with two bdl style bell and carlson stocks. One took zero work, and the other was maybe 30 seconds with a file.
