Several years ago, when I wore a younger man's clothes, I fell in love with the 1st generation Ti line of Remington model 700 rifles. I snagged every single one that I could buy, and somewhere along the way I also learned about the 2nd generation Ti, or Alaskan Ti as they are called. Basically, the big brother to the Titanium Ultimate Lightweight Mountain Rifle, as Remington called the original. Being a 7mm Remington Magnum fan, I grabbed this one and held on to it.

I fired this rifle just enough to like how it handled Hornady factory ammo, and I took it on a Bezoar Ibex hunt to Turkey 10 years ago, but that's the only hunt it ever made with me. It's been babied, but time took a toll on the stock's finish, and it became tacky to the touch. So, a couple of years ago I sent it to John Boy at the Campfire, and he did me a nice job of recoating it. I liked the outcome, as the stock both looks and feels better than new, and it will not become tacky again. I recently installed a brand-new Simms recoil pad as well. This rifle is now better than it ever was in my opinion.

The rifle is in great shape and as far as I know the hunt I made in Turkey with it is the only time it's been hunted. I see zero flaws on the rifle, and it shot some great groups for me with factory ammo. My price includes the 30mm Talley mounts. It does not include the Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40 Long Range rifle scope with Varmint Hunter reticle, but that could be negotiated.

$2000.00 shipped to your FFL CONUS (rifle & mounts only)
