Rem 700 7mm STW question

Howdy everyone,
I have this REM 700 chambered in 7mm STW and have a few questions.
What model 700 would this be considered?
I assume the brake is threaded on but would like to confirm as it is not threading off easily. Any tips to remove assuming it is threaded on?
Any favorite loads for 7mm STW? My father and I tried many loads in the 160+ grain area 15 years ago when he was prepping for an elk hunt. We could never get much better than 2 MOA out of the rifle. Looking to improve on that and possibly try some lighter bullets if that’s the way to go.

Looks like it has a DBM (detachable magazine)? Was it from the 90's? If so likely a 700 SS BDL DM. I don't think they offered that model for very long.

Brake is likely installed with thread locker. May need to heat it up fairly hot to get it to release.

Yes it does have a detachable mag. So I believe that would be correct for the model. And yes I believe it was made in the 90’s as well. I assumed that was the model from my previous research but was hoping someone would confirm. From what I understand it was only made a year or two and there are not a lot of them around.

I will have to try some heat. I can tell you brute force has not worked lol

Friend has a similar generation 700 ks in the STW that really only shines with 150 grain and lighter bullets. The 150 grain NBT and newer accubonds (not the long range) in particular with a charge of retumbo that requires a little vibration to help it settle to a level that reduces crunchiness shoots very well.
