Hello everyone new reloader here this may be a dumb questI just shot my first hand loads out of a 7mm and 7 prc , my question is how do I keep my Garmin xero C2 stable ? It kept popping up completely or blowing off the table I ended up putting it on the sxs tailgate as close as possible and that fixed it falling but was out of the 5-15 spec to the side and within th 5-15 behind the muzzle towards the shooter
Both the mentioned guns have muzzle brakes

Change the brakes for suppressors!

Also get a different heavier tripod or weighted system to hold it

Is your whole table moving when you shoot? I've shot plenty of guns with brakes next to a Garmin and it's never even twitched

I moved to shooting mine prone just on the ground both on suppressed rifles and rifles with brakes and haven’t had any issues with a good reading. Maybe try weighting it down as suggested above.

I’m sure the whole thing was moving to some degree it was a plastic lifetime table

That makes sense guys and thinking more about it and I think the table was bouncing it around not necessarily the brake blowing it off the table, another new guy question does a couple inches lower or higher the barrel height change anything ?

I don't think position changes anything as long as it's in the range where it works.

Don’t put it in the path of gasses from the brake.

Get a more stable shooting platform for starters. There is a reason that benches at most ranges are made of concrete.
