Just wondering if anyone has similar results as mine. Using Barnes 129gr LRX, my jam point is at an avg 2.825. If seating .05 off jam, I’m at 2.775 CBTO and OAL of about 3.378, but it’s a tad bit too long to fit in the magazine. So I’ll have to go shorter. Any one have similar results? Or care to share their measurement for the 270win T3x. The pic is of the 129gr LRX at 2.775 CBTO, anyone’s look similar? Thanks

Happens all the time with tikkas. Seat to mag length and give it a shot. I doubt you’ll be unhappy with accuracy

I have to seat my tikka 30-06 .100 off the lands to fit in the magazine. Groups fine.
Same hear. Two Tikkas, 30.06 and a new 7mm-08. Both seated to mag length, both shoot good. Took my antelope at 358 yards this year with the 30.06. 1 shot through the lungs. I've chased seating depth with 2 non Tikka rifles because I could. But mag length has worked good when I couldn't.

I’ve loaded for 3 different Tikka 270s plus several other tikkas. Load to mag length and rock on.
