Hey All,

I have about two dozen Easton Bloodline arrows that I want to refletch. I purchased them at two separate times, so one lot has a factory wrap while one lot does not. The factory wrap runs from the nock about 1/3 up the arrow. When removing the old fletchings off the lot that has the wrap I had to remove that as well which left behind a white residue. I'm assuming it is some sort of adhesive. Any idea how I can remove this? Also, when removing the fletchings off the new lot I noticed a small strip of carbon on the fletching where the adhesive was. Is this normal? This is the first time I am refletching arrows, so not sure what to expect and what I am doing. Thanks for any advice.

You can clean the shafts with either acetone or Goo Gone, even isopropyl alcohol works better than nothing. Is it an actual strip of carbon? Or does the base just look black?

The underside of the fletching looks grey and I can see the old fletching lines on the arrow where they were removed from. These were all factory arrows so I am not sure if the glue that was used has something to do with it. I did not use that much pressure with the defletching knife when removing them.
