Reel Elk

I had two of them, one worked great & sounded great, the 2nd one hit the trash. Not reliable enough for my taste at such a high dollar investment. If you try it I hope you get a decent one. Good luck!

P.S. the bull sounds are not anything like a good reed & grunt tube. I will add that I'm fairly picky on believable sounding elk sounds.

ElkNut
Paul I don’t know what is wrong w you always just been a hater. Good luck. Hope the collaborations w Phelps still paying off now that he sold to meateater/chernin group lol

I'm just one person, but this is not a good look. Companies that join Rokslide on the defensive against anyone who doesn't sing their praises historically lose more traction than they gain here. ElkNut is pretty well respected around here and he didn't do anything but share his experience with your product.

Anyway, I've always been happy enough with my Cow Talk call that I don't think I'd buy a much more expensive 3d printed or wood alternative.

I agree 💯. Elknut has proven himself to be anything but a hater for anything elk. In fact quite the opposite. I’m sure the reel elk has good tones but for guys that can already make all the sounds with a mouth reed it doesn’t make much sense to pack around. For that reason, and for the way you resurrected this thread by disrespecting a couple of the good guys in the industry for presumably not endorsing your product, I won’t be trying it out. This is assuming that drewreelgamecalls is the owner of said company

I bought on a long time ago and rarely if ever use it. Mine is so soft and that you can't get much volume at all so maybe good in some instances but I wouldn't dare use it if the elk were close enough to hear it as they'd be right of top of you. I actually remember when it first came out and the owner claimed he puts Corey Jacobson to shame.......I lost all confidence when I heard that statement but it was unfortunately after I'd purchased one.

Always checking out new calls, and always go back to my sure fire reeds. The Sounds were good, but not consistent enough for me.

I have two of them and they sound great.......to me. But I have yet to have a bull respond or come into one of those in probably 5 seasons. Similar results with the EZ Suk'r. So I just stick to my bugle. That works very well.
I'd stick with the brown triple 🏹🏹🏹

I've been using that Cow Talk call for 40 years.
