I bought this back in September in preparation for my October elk hunt. It was mounted on my 30-06 and accompanied me on one hunt. If there is a mark on it, I can't find it. The glass is clean and scratch free. Clarity on this scope is excellent. I believe this is virtually the same scope as the Leupold Rifleman, only with a slightly different (better imo) zoom ring. The zoom ring is very smooth. I had no problems zeroing this scope in just a few shots, and it held zero well under strong '06 loads from a 6.25 lb. rifle.
The Plex reticle here is the same as Leupold's wide duplex. 8 MOA from the crosshair to the tip of the heavy bottom post.
I paid $240 for it with tax. PRICE DROP to **SPF*** shipped. This is basically a new scope with Leupold's lifetime warranty.
