Follow along as Ryan, I, and Jake, Jessica and Blaine from Unknown Munitions are headed to Africa to hunt giraffe Cape buffalo 🦬, Kudu, zebra , sable and maybe a rare, elusive Jackalope!

Thanks for sharing, should be an interesting thread! All the recent talk about needing tough bullets and shooting them up front by the shoulder and it looks like some mid body impacts from those little match bullets in some of the pics?

Serious congratulations.
I was just there last month with another outfitter and we did pretty well.
Did not get the chance to even see any of the Cape B’s. But they certainly a formidable animal.
Your food does look much more impressive than what we had but the hunting left us all satisfied.
Have a great time on your rest of your trip.

Just checked their website and their prices are very reasonable.
Pretty sure that he used the .416 for the cape.
One mistake I made, sorta, was shooting a trophy class springbok and got hit with the unexpected surprise trophy fee. Kind of hard to judge a 1/2 inch of horn length at 200 yards. Funny now, not funny then.
