Recommendations for stabilizers and length

Looking for some recommendations for stabilizers. I was looking at the AAE mountain series stabilizers or some from cutter.

What length stabilizers do you prefer 12/10, 12/8, 10/8, or 10/6?

I had the AAE Mountain series and switched to the Cutter stabilizers in 15/6 lengths. The Cutter bars felt like they reduced vibration a little better. I also like that their front qd mount gives you the option to store the stabilizer vertically, their back bar mount has grooved teeth to set the angles so it's impossible to have it accidentally move. Yes, you lose the finite adjustment, but I am still able to get it set close enough to perfect for me.

I go 12/8. Took a long time for me to get there. I resisted the back bar until last year. I’m currently using the Spider Predator series. I like the look of the beefier 3/4” bar.

Truthfully, in the hunting lengths you’re not going to experience much difference going between 8 and 12. The more reflex your riser has, the more you’ll benefit from a longer stabilizer. But then again, modern hunting bows are all very close in reflex/deflex measurements.

The Bridgelock aggravates me because it’s ridiculous price, but it’s nice to experiment with length with one stabilizer. I have a 12” on the front and ended up with 1 ounce on the front and 3 ounces on an 8” rear stabilizer. I was able to swap weights back and forth and slide them in and out to find the length a of each that settled the bow the best for me.

Following... I need some different combo for my lift 33. Currently using a 10/6 Flatline combo and it not great compared to my RX7U with 12/8 stinger combo.

I have been running the titanium archery products stabilizer (the TAP-DOA) as my front bar for awhile. I run 15inches in the front. It's amazing and the best I have used for my needs. I looked for a light bar so I can keep the weight where I want it at the end for balance. My 15inch bar is 3.4oz in weight without the end weights I add. It's also cheaper than most bars. I have an 8 in back bar, a bee stinger micro hex, had it from a previous build and so I just kept it. I would like to change to a 10in titanium archery products bar, but I've been lazy and just haven't pulled the trigger.

As a general rule the longer the bar, the less weight needed to balance. The opposite is true as well, the shorter the bar the more weight is often needed for balance. I realize 15inches is long for most people, but I haven't really found a situation where the extra 3 inches over a 12 in bar has caused me problems, even in a blind.

I made a post about buying a few different stabilizers and comparing them. For what its worth the aae mountain series was my least favorite. Put the most vibration back in the bow by a long shot. Also worth noting though I was only comparing 15" bars.

I’ve been using 12/10 combination with the BeeStinger sport hunter bars the last couple years. 4oz front and 6oz back. Seemed to balance really well for me, but it was heavy. I do like the longer front, in general, but 10” as a back bar might be been a bit long for me. Right now I’m trying out a lighter weight per inch bar, slightly longer overall length, and 2-3 oz front with a 12” bar, with 5oz in back 8” bar. With weights and dampers on the bars, the length of each bar is like 2.5” longer than the advertised length in my scenario, so I’m liking using less end weight with the longer bar
