Recommendations for single pin sight

What do you recommend for a good value single pin sight? Also any thoughts on the single pin with two dots vs a single dot?

If you're talking about a double vertical pin sight, I really like them. I think the MBG dual trac is still the best hunting sight for the money, too.

You mentioned value, I got both my teens a single pin from Redline. They work just fine. I personally use a black gold ascent and love it.. haven't tried a 2 dot version

For as nice as a single pin sight picture is, I would recommend a 2 or 3 pin vertical if you're hunting. Black gold dual track is a solid value

You can pick up a used single pin Spot Hogg Fast Eddie for about 150 anyway of the week on here and other places. There's your value.

Black gold dual trac is the best thing going in hunting sights. I picked another up for a friend that was a dovetail model, new in box for 250 a couple weeks ago.

BlackGold is great and so is SpotHogg. I prefer BG. I don’t like a sight tape on the wheel.

I would get the one with the best mechanism (or, the one that you like best). I shoot a multi pin slider (HHA) that has the largest housing diameter I could find. I also shoot a large peep sight diameter. I can acquire a target incredibly fast. For hunting and short yardage (60 and under), I absolutely love this set-up. When I shoot TAC, I swap the housing out with a smaller diameter, single pin and put a smaller orifice in my peep. I don't find the target as fast but, it does tighten things up (especially at TAC distances). So, I guess my point is that, I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as you have a solid mechanism, you can always swap out the housing/pin assembly.
