Recommendations for scope on new rifle

It appears @Broz does a lot of long range hunting and uses the ATACR a lot, so there’s that.

Based on my discussions with a guy who kills coyotes long range for a living, I wouldn’t be afraid to use a S&B PMII 5-25 especially if you can find a good price on a lightly used/demo…

I picked up one of the Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x50 a few months ago and am pretty impressed with it. Have it mounted on a Seekins Havak PH2 in 6.5 PRC. Seems like it’s got all the features you’re looking for plus it’s pretty light and inside the budget you’re looking at. Good glass quality for the money, great low light performance for hunting and would be plenty of scope for shooting out to 1000yrds.

Just put a Tract Toric UHD 4.5x30-56 on my son’s Seekins PH2 in 6.5 PRC. This is the second Tract we own. Great glass, turrets ratchet very distinctly, reticle is spot-on to expected MOA clicks, and the personalized service from the owners is pretty amazing. Lots of evil videos on YouTube FWIW.
