Looking for recommendations for a new muzzle break that will fit my number five taper barrel threaded to 5/8x24. I would like something semi-affordable, not looking to spend $150+

I had this gentleman make me one up for my 300wsm. Works great, only weighs 2 oz. and cost $37 shipped.

Both APA and PVA make some very nice self-timing brakes. I’ve been highly impressed with APA’s “the answer” on my 7rm despite its very small size.

Take a look at Gentry muzzlebrakes. I'm really happy with mine, and it won't kill your ears.
