Anyone use your Revic’s in a chest rig?

Looking for recommendations on a lighter weight
Slim downed, non magnetic, chest rig for
Secure storage of a pair of Revic BR10’s
Maybe just the main pouch type with some ability to add side pockets if needed.
One that is not too big & sloppy fit.

I typically prefer my Rick Young bino harness
But considering a bit more protection.

I prefer minimal stuff on my chest, so I don’t
Know if I’ll like a chest rig but figured I’d try one.

Thx.

Anyone tried Marsupial. I got one buddy that is pretty fond of his, just curious if anyone else has had good luck?
I use Revics and a Marsupial harness. The harness is a little deep top to bottom for them, and a little narrow front to back, but they still fit ok. Good enough to where I don't feel like i need to use a different harness. The Revics are just kind of an odd shape.

Marsupial fully enclosed non magnetic or Kuiu Gen 3. Medium size. Those two work great specifically for the Revic.

I find myself using the marsupial more.

Why use nonmagnetic? I thought that Aaron said they tested magnetic versus non magnetic and it didn’t make a difference. Just curious because I might buy a BR10 and will be looking for a new harness.

I read that post and ended up getting the enclosed marsupial magnetic pack. I tried both medium and small and I like the fit in the small even with the wiser clamp. The front to back is about the same in both packs, but the small is about the perfect fit on length.

Wanted to add a couple points to consider that I’ve encountered while researching.

1) rigidity for ease of 1 hand operation
2) not too tight of fit, ease of removal, yet secure
3) Velcro - potential noise & crap sticks to it.
4) waterproof fabrics
5) complicated straps & tangle & cross up.
6) noisy hardware & or fabrics
7) lid stays out of way
8) full enclosure
9) easy off / easy on
10) not too bulky
11) some modularity
12) interference with back pack or other gear use

Just things to keep in mind.

Marsupial small standard pouch is the ticket. Non enclosed, their OG harness. It is as perfect a fit as you will find. Much easier to access the binos if not enclosed and the pouch is not as deep. Get the mag latch too. It will have no ill effect on the bino.

I would recommend the non padded standard web strap and a buckle delete kit as well.

Kuiu is a great option, but for the BR10 the Marsupial is the clear winner.

I know you want fully enclosed, but it is not much of a benefit. The fit is snug enough to keep all dust and debris off the ocular and objective lenses. If it is that wet or dusty and you really want more protection just run a rain fly on it.
