Rechargeable AAA battery ?'s

I do the rechargeable batteries a lot. The AAA's just plain don't last ver long....the AA's are better but still not a very good battery.

Now, the 18650 batteries are a whole different story. I put one of those in my Zebra headlamp and I can't kill it in a 14 day hunt using it day and night. Crazy good.

Got to remember that non lithium rechargeable batteries are 1.2 V instead of 1.5 V. Some device don't play well with 1.2 V batteries. Found that out the hard way after buying two dozens for my trail cams....Not sure if that applies to headlamps.

I use the eneloops. I’m not complicating something that works that
I can pick up replacements about anywhere I am at. I live and hunting in every drastically changing temps and they have done very well. I live in the very southern tip of the US and hunt in the Northeast and mid South. I can wake up at zero - 30 degrees and go to bed in 85-95. Alabama is the worse. You can be hunting in the morning at 22 degrees and in the afternoon at dang near 80.
