Received the Vaccine today...

Got my second moderna shot last week. Got the side effects pretty bad, albeit they lasted only the day. Decided to get vaxxed after watching my dad’s life fall apart because of him getting the disease pretty bad. He’s hunted every year of his life, but last fall was the first time he couldn’t even get out for deer or elk after getting Covid since he was 12. He has permanent pulmonary damage from Covid. I got jabbed with all kinds of shots from having been in the Iraq and Afghan wars. Figured this stuff couldn’t be any worse. You want to talk about side effects? The malaria meds we got in Afghanistan were brutal. Give that a google if you’re bored.

I got my second Moderna shot this past Thursday. Within a few hours I had a pretty sore arm and Friday morning I feel pretty crappy. Nauseated, achy, sore arm and neck. I just felt all around sick. The Thursday evening beers and 5 hours of sleep probably didn’t help but it’s turkey season. You can’t kill a turkey while you’re sleeping.

Got my second Pfizer shot on Tuesday night. Zero side effects, hardly even a sore shoulder.

Same here, second shot last Monday and my arm was a little sore Tuesday and by Thursday it was fine.

Got the pfizer vaccine and was a little feverish afterwards on the first go round, only lasted a few hours. The second was a breeze,feel fine afterwards.

I’m curious if there is a connection between second shot reaction and vitamin d intake. There was a study that showed higher mortality/seriousness among those who were vitamin d deficient. I think the initial report was from a French firm.

Good for you! I am 63. My College roommate was in ICU for 13 days. A friends wife died from Covid. She was 68. Another college friend’s wife now has heart issues secondary to Covid. Either you don’t have that big of a circle of acquaintances or you haven’t looked very far. This is NOT just another virus. Now you can choose to not get the vaccine and I will support your right to do so, but if you claim this thing is nothing to worry about, then you aren’t looking hard enough and you don’t know the facts.

tell me this: if this thing killed 5% of our kids instead of older people would you still scoff?

I don’t think people are saying it is a fake illness. I agree people can die from it, just like the flu. Take a bunch of vitamin d everyday. If you get COVID, lots of studies say Ivermectin is the medicine that works against it. This was not worth shutting the country down, destroying the economy over and sticking ourselves with some quick to market mRNA shots with significant side effects. If they can scare people into sticking themselves with needles, they will be able to scare these same people into other things like giving up their right to bear arms.

I'd be careful on that one, I know plenty of people who have killed their dogs by doing home deworming treatments with the Ivermectin they bought at the farm supply store.

My wife was in a meeting the other day for cardiac MRI and they noted the exceptional number of college students who had been tested to return to school, been found positive but were never symptomatic (so they could never have been treated), and now have heart issues leading to myocarditis. Not a good deal.

He says a bunch of things that are not true, India being one of them.

Another is that coronaviruses are seasonal. Not all are.
