Rear stabilizer only?

I realized that my new prime rize balances pretty well with a little rear weight only..

So, I guess my question is is there a benefit to running a front stabilizer with a light 1-2oz weight then balancing it with a rear/side bar over only running a rear side bar? Will it dampen vibration better? Will it help hold steady better? Or is it not worth it and I should run a rear only??

My bow is already a little bit on the heavy side cause it's a prime..

Basically are there benefits besides just balancing? And having something to hold onto when walking miles lol.. I bought one of the new Bstinger Microhex 15" counterslides but I can still return it.. I could grab a bowfinger adjustable rear mount and just run an 8" microhex out of it

The front stabilizer will help with holding your float to a smaller target area. But if you are able to do that without adding the extra weight and get good results at the distances you are likely to hunt, then I see no reason to add the extra weight. Shoot straight and have a good hunt!

Im just running a side bar on my Centergy Hybrid. I might run a front bar if this setup wasnt so dang heavy already but i shoot it well enough its really not needed.

Well crap, I wanted to play with this counterslide but if I can get the same results while saving half a pound I guess I should do that...

I just ran a back bar on my Rize as well, picked up a Halon 32 and it just felt better set up the same way. It looks kind of weird but what the hell, it works.

Well... Looks like I figured this out on my own lol

I already have the 15" Bstinger Counter Slide so I decided to try to tune it up and balance the bow and see how it shoots while I wait for my rear bar to come in the mail. I started with 2 oz on the front and 5 on the back. Then kept adding them, and adding them... I quit at 1oz in front and 9 in back and the bow still was falling forward too much.. I even tried sliding it back a couple inches.. 100% going with rear only!!
