Hey guys looking for any first hand experience with both these mini spotters. I currently have a swaro 80 and a set of maven 15s and I’m looking to fill the void between the two. I love the 15s but they’re quite heavy and majority of my hunts are backpacking throughout the mountains of B.C. For elk and mule deer. Curious if you guys would choose one or the other and why? Not looking to break the bank or else I’d go with a kowa or atc

I've used my Nikon 13-30x50ED some, as it is a very light weight scope (19 oz if I remember right) here in BC for bucks, caribou, and mainly bears...black and grizzly when we could still hunt them. It works decently!

Even did a bit of video comparison between it and my Swaro ATM (at the time) 20-60x65MMHD with the Phone Skope and iPhone attachment recording California Bighorns above the house at around a km away.

Little Nikon was decent....not the Swaro but decent. Today I've got a Swaro ATC 17-40x56 that replaces both the Nikon and the larger Swaro ATM. I'd make you a very fair offer to buy the Nikon. DM me if you want to chat.
