Curious if range-finding binoculars are replacing the traditional separate rangefinder and bino setup for any western hunters?

I’d contemplated ordering some of the Vortex Fury HDs, but can’t see trying to manage the size and weight of those vs the light and accessible solo rangefinder, especially for close and quick encounters.

The Sig is the one you want to look at. Unless you have the budget for the Zeiss. Your optical clarity is going to be less due to a screen that covers the glass. This is probably why they aren't super popular.

If you're wanting to do a rangefinding binocular I would reccomend the new Swarovski EL Range. They are only 3 ounces heavier than the standard ELs (29.6oz vs 32.6oz)

Not sure I want them, interested in feedback on application and use for those that may have tried and liked or at least considered.
