Ram rod options

I’m restocking a Remington 700ml with a hs precision stock and I don’t want to attach the ramrod to the barrel. I noticed a lot of modern smokeless muzzleloaders don’t have the ramrod attached. My question is, what ramrods are you useing and how do you carry them afield?

I carry one on all my muzzies. If you don’t want to do that the best option is a collapsible.

The cva accuras and paramounts come with a collapsible ramrod in a pouch I carried mine on the bottom of my bino holster last year and it worked well. Several companies make a similar option.
