Rain Pants/Top sizing

Looking to get some FL Stormtights.. In pants I run on the upper end of their medium (I'm about a 32/32, maybe 33/32)

Since they're going to go over my pants, should I step up to the large?

I actually have the same issue with their top.. I usually wear a medium but maybe a large would be better as an outer layer? I just don't want to be swimming in it but I want it to fit over a puffy.. All my FL merino and fleece are mediums and fit perfect

Well, you already own FL so you will probably know best, but I definitely wouldn't size up if I were to do it. They build ample space into their outerwear (this is particularly true of my stormtight top)

I am just under 6' and 180lbs with a 33" waist. I ordered the size large Stormtight pants and was swimming in them! I returned them and the mediums now fit perfect. I wear them over my Kuiu guide pants. Hope that helps.

For sure get mediums. I am 5'9 and 165 right now and the mediums are pretty darn big on me. I don't think you'll be disappointed with mediums given your size.

I made a mistake of sizing up when I got some FL Stormtight. Big mistake, literally. They were so big I was swimming in them. Stick with your size in everything they have. Mediums were a much better fit, and plenty big enough to layer underneath.
