Sizing on Kifaru Lost Park Pants

I have the Kifaru parka in XL and it fits perfect. Normally wear jeans in a 38” waist, 30-32” inseam. I’m 6’ about 220 pounds (yeah I got a long torso…) not sure if I should get large or XL pants - what bugs me is the 35” inseam for the XL pants. The large goes up to 38 with a 33” inseam, which should be ok, but I’m not sure about it with the athletic fit, and I’m always apprehensive to buy large in anything. I’m in my 40’s, not a slender 20 yo. Anybody got a pair that can describe?

So anyway…if anyone cares, especially since they were on sale….got both pairs of the Kifaru pants (L and XL) and the XL are definitely huge (about a 38-40” waist, keep in mind they can’t be adjusted much) but not quite as long as I thought - I’d say more of a 33” inseam, not 35. The Large seems more true to size at 36-38” waist and 32” inseam, a little tight but not bad for me. Keeping both, just cause I’m old and sometimes have fat days or may want to layer or whatever. I don’t care. They are nice and warm, typical solid Kifaru quality.
