Rain Jacket for big head?

I have only had experience with the Sitka and Westcomb jackets, but am wondering if anyone makes a rain jacket that makes it possible to turn your head with the hood up. With the Sitka especially I could not turn my head left or right because of the constructive cut of the jacket (I do have a large noggin).

Not sure which Sitka jacket you have but i have the cloudburst, and i know if you tighten the cables on that thing to mold to your held you can pretty much walk around with it on like a hat. Its pretty great. Maybe try the first lite stuff, that stuff runs a little loser, which i like for the shirts and such.

The Sitka hoods are bigger than most...you must be a freak! Or a pinhead with the cinch line too tight. LOL

I wear a 7.5" hat and the new First Lite Stormlight has a very generous hood.

I got a few days on mine. I broke a zipper pocket, no biggie. I've got a new jacket coming this week! Great company!

What you want is a hood that cinches well to your head. I have an arcteryx jacket that does this perfectly and I wear an xl helmet. My kuiu chugach does it too to a lesser extent.

Cinching doesn't seem to be the issue... Being able to turn my head is the problem

Yeah the hood on the new Vapor is quite generous. Look at it in this video:
