Rain Gear

I currently have Goretex PacLite shell Rain gear, it is definitely waterproof, but not what I would call breathable, or quiet. I just bought the KUIU Chugach, but I was wondering what you guys opinion is of the Chugach versus the eVent shell that is relatively new? It looks like any eVent shell is going to be quite a bit more money than the Chugach as well. Thanks for the input!

The chugach is good and cheaper because you are buying factory direct instead of from a retailer. Very similar in specs.

From what was said I believe that the specs are very similar, they are both direct vent fabrics. The chugach is 4 way stretch though

The chugach set is the best rainware I have ever used. Light, easy to don and doff on the mountain as needed. Breathes well and is quiter than a lot of other rainware, when using it to go through wet brush.
