Hey all,

I have an EXO frame with a 3500 and 5500 bag I can use. I don’t want to use their internal waterproof bag.

What rain covers are you all running with your EXO’s? Would like to be able to use with both bags if I can.

Thanks for any info!

Jason

I don't. Just use a trash bag as a liner. However, Sea to Sumit makes some lightweight rain covers in various sizes and I'm sure you could find one to fit.

I have been using the Kuiu covers (medium and large) and they have worked well for me. If the bags on the EXO are mostly empty the medium will work great- if you got a full pack then go with the large.

Cheap one from Wally word. I rarely take the time to put it on, but the few times I have it did the job. It's even a pretty blue.

Tried rain covers before....didnt really work for my application - thick woods and brush. Cover would pull off at times and actually hang up on branches, brush, etc...EXO internal bags are about as good as it gets; lightweight and easy to use. If you're in more open terrain, I'm sure you could use one of the inexpensive covers as others mentioned.

I’m not running an exo, but I use a Kuiu rain cover for my 1850-6000 packs.
It does a great job keeping most of the water off of the pack. I like how they have hooks on the side that prevent it from getting pulled off if you go through brush.
