I really enjoyed and and learned alot from the raft article by Luke, it could add a whole new dimension to scouting and hunting for me. Just by taking this into consideration I think I have opened up 2 new possible areas for myself.
Ah, found the article. Big Sky makes a nice packable raft as well. Very popular in BC with the steelhead fisherman, who often go down some challenging rivers.
Rafting as a whole has opened many doors here in Alaska. Pack rafting has gotten me into a whole new level of accessible land. Luke's article covers a fairly new addition to the market, the Big Rig, developed by Larry Bartlett of Pristine Ventures.
Payload to weight ratio is most excellent at 800# and 16# packed weight. I hope to be running one this fall on a sheep hunt.
