Shooting a longbow so the last thing I need is a quiver on my bow. My back quiver is useless with a backpack. I used a hip quiver Saturday and it was OK...
I've seen a few guys on the forums attaching wheelie bow quivers to the side of their packs. How well does this work and how easy is it to get arrows out while the pack and quiver are on you? The biggest issue with the hip quiver was how high the arrows stuck up out of the quiver. The fletch kept getting ruffled from brush. Also too the Vista quiver only held about five arrows. It waisted space by having holders for smaller diameter shafts. I'd like atleast a full six arrows, eight would ideal. Even to hold spare backup shafts.
Thanks boys.
