The octane deadlock pro does not get a lot of love on the forums from what I've seen compared to the tight spot like I think it should. Perhaps because it's design it so similar to the TS that it's perceived as a knock off. I have the octane myself and I have been very pleased with it. The arrow grippers are longer than the TS so by design they are going to reduce arrow vibration and increase grip. It is advertised to be lighter than the TS and cheaper. The only thing I would say is if you have an freestyle type sight that you make sure the quiver will work with it. I run a MBG Ascent and my octane quiver works well with it.

I had just picked up my new bow and have yet to get a quiver so this thread has been interesting. My last bow had the Mathews T5 but this time I got a Prime. I decided that I would most likely go with a Tightspot. I have a MBG Ascent with a 4" dovetail. Before I shell out $140, will the Tightspot be able to clear the hand knob?

Yes. I am running a custom ascent. But w regular mount. It will be perfect.

I have a tight spot and like the quiver. I haven't seen or noticed any change in balance or shootibility as compared to other one piece quivers I've had. I really like the adjustable arrow holders.
