I currently have a tight spot on my Prime Black 5. I like the tight spot and think it's a good quiver, but wondering how they compare to the Sherpa or quivalizer. What did you guys throw on your Primes?

I have the Sherpa on my Prime and love it. Have a Tight Spot for my other bow but haven’t played with it much on my Prime.

Really like the way the Sherpa system mounts providing you don’t have clearance issues with your sight bracket and screws. I had to tweak my Spot Hogg thumb screw and quiver bracket to get everything perfect.

I'm still a big fan of my quivalizer. I put one on my CT5 and was able to shed weight while I believe increase stability. Plus I get to wrap it around my neck like a big dog.

I just went to a Sherpa 1 piece from a prime. I love it so far. Holds it tighter than the tight spot and has 2 grippers. I shot with it this week and the added weight of the quiver steadied my bow even more. What’s not to like?

That's what I'm most curious about with the Sherpa. I think the mounting system is awesome as well, but I'm worried about clearance issues with my sight. Are you familiar with the Black Gold mountain lite? If so do you think there would be clearance issues with it?

I'm thinking about giving the 2 piece a shot. Do you have a slider sight? If so does the quiver or arrows obstruct the sight dial?

Haha that does look a convenient way to carry a bow. Do you know how well it would grip 5mm shafts? In would assume it would be a problem since they're pretty common, but I'm curious.

I have a 1 piece and a spot hogg hogg father, no issues with obstructions at all. 107904E2-DDC6-49DC-AEC6-F3A50FC6E864.jpeg

No way I will use a tite spot quiver again. I also have the prime black 5 and wanted to use a tree limb premium quiver but they don’t have the mount for that riser. So I went ahead and bought the sharpa quiver and so far really like it. By far better then the tite spot.

Thanks for the response. Do you have the 1 piece or 2 piece?

Actually it really is a great way to carry. I shoot 4mm and they fit great.

I ran a quivalizer on my CT5 and loved it. Highly recommend. Bow balanced perfectly at the grip with it while carrying and just how I wanted at full draw.

Running it on a PSE this year and still prefer it to the tight spot but doesn't balance quite as well as it did on the Primes.

Not familiar with that sight but the only issues I have with the Fast Eddie XL is the thumbscrew knob for the dovetail. If I switched to the standard Allen head without thumbscrew I would get it a bit tighter.

ETA: Looked up the Mountain Lite and don’t think you’d have any issues with that standard mount bracket.
