Quiet QD sling attachment

I’m new to quick detach slings on rifles. One of my current setups came with a as cup on the buttstock and it rattles while attached. Is there an easy way to quiet them down? If I’m in a tree, I like the option of hanging it when I’m moving or getting something, etc. so it’s not as easy as just take the sling off when not in use. Thinking an o-ring or something to take up the slack. Anyone have a good solution to this?

I just have the spring loaded things as I can remove my sling in probably 10 seconds. I never like my sling on when I'm in the stand.

I've used o-rings to quiet them down. There is a little trial and error involved to get the right fit without having to force the QD into the mount.

I haven’t tried it but I wonder if those elastic bands like belt keepers would work if slid over the swivel. Should hush up some of the rattle and clanking on the stock.
