Quick Rant on DeadAir

FWIW I don't have anything against DeadAir suppressors (for their suppressing ability). I only own 1 a Wolfman 9mm, and it's fine and have a nomad ti currently in jail. I do have problems with **** CS though. Recently tried to take advantage of 300$ hush money promo (one of the many promos going on to try and sell as many cans before Jan 1). I figured 300 off another can would pay for the tax stamp and beat the rush on this one. My dealer had the can coming in normal restock order the next week. I purchased can on October 31, the last day of the promotion. I went online to submit for promo- and it asks for form 4 submission number- what???? all over the site it states cans must be purchased by October 31- nothing about form 4 submission ( I have all the screenshots of the online promo to prove it). I contact CS at DeadAir and state that since my dealer uses SilencerShop for paperwork- the form 4 submission timing is on SilencerShop, I cant submit until they process- they proceeded to take 2 weeks for just that (longer than I have ever had them take). Anyway- after 2 weeks of back and forth and the escalation of my CS complaint, and "we normally wouldn't do this, but just this one time we are going to do you a favor" I finally received the promo code. Code is supposedly good through Jan., So today I am deciding what other can (this time with no tax stamp being post Jan 1) I should order. Call my dealer- they have not heard of promo and don't know how to apply discount. Get back a hold of DeadAir and they state it's only good for "accessories" not suppressors. Wait... so I can get 300$ or your overpriced merchandise, but not off a can??? yep... that's the deal. My bad for not reading the page 12 fine print is what CS told me. I say- why do you have or need page 12 fine print? Anyway- that's my story. I feel spreading the word on the ever lacking CS is all I can do. Personally won't buy another can from them- too many other good/better options.

Well, I guess you could interpret it like that. here is what I was going off- straight from the mouths

Notice 2 things-1.) NOTHING about form 4's (timing of which we don't control), and 2.) "anything from your dealers is going to be hooked up", "so go get yourself a new gear, a new can".

Yup, all on me for not reading the fine print- lesson learned. Rather not deal with a company I have to.

I went to silencer shop saw the promo. It literally says anything in our store (dead air’s store) since they don’t sell suppressors directly; their store only has merchandise and accessories. I thought it was a BS promo, but they and others have done promos like this before.

Neither of the quotes you have are in the video you linked.

Buy the new can to get the promo, not get the promo to buy a new can.

If you listen at the end- yes it is

Semantics though honestly- it’s clearly a plot to try and fool you. “Buy a can and get 300$ in overpriced DA stickers, hats, and 200$ suppressor covers” doesn’t have quite the ring to it.

I had no idea you couldn’t purchase cans from Dead air and have them sent to your dealer- every other can I have ever purchased worked that way.

Yes, read the fine print, yes, realize every company is trying to take advantage of you, yes- it’s on you if you get took. I understand all of these points.

Wouldn’t it be great if you knew you were dealing with an honest company whose primary intention was not to bend you over?

It’s a first world problem for sure- but…calling out exceptional service, as well as bs when encountered is the only way to move the meter. I already heard back from DA just from this post. We are their customer base.

Btw- Seekins has their shit together, if any company wants an example of how to treat people and make loyal customers- take notes from them.
