At a minimum, your writing skills indicate a lack of the fundamental mental faculty necessary to do this safely. You also are concerned about the wrong things, and loading for cartridges where there is no cost benefit.

Starline brass is great and lower cost than some others. I reload 223/.5.56 with Federal M193 brass. Works great too after removing the primer crimp from the factory.

I have a new dumb question- why is it ok to have small groups that are t on or near the marked target ( bullseye)? I get that you want them one hole . Does it not matter in relation to the marked target? Iam sure iam not understanding but I see it alot on you tube and for the begginer or the non-shooter it looks like your missing. Thanks sorry it’s so basic. I got the garage cleaned and my gear out. Picking up supplies this week . So iam watching tons of .223 loading videos trying to not be overwhelmed with all the new information and set my self up for success. Woot woot merry Christmas!

A lot of times, people will turn the elevation or windage a few clicks so that the bullets don’t hit the aiming point. This lets you shoot a consistent group at the same aiming point. If you are shooting at a 1” dot at 100 yards and gradually obliterating it, then you don’t have the same aiming point.

Edit - of course, you turn it back to zeroed before you go hunting.

Eh, most people don't have their rifle properly zeroed. A few do adjust things to preserve their aiming point.

Sure you do........the center of the hole. My archery target is literally missing the center 3" bullseye, as it has been for probably the last 5 years. It's real easy to just keep aiming in the middle of the hole.

Iam in need of dies. I won’t be buying custom whidden dies and I think since iam begginer I’ll pass on neck bushing dies for now. My question is does the brand matter for me with full length sizer die kits? Iam only doing .223, .270 win and 9mm Luger. Certain brands are sold out of them. Does it matter ? I don’t want junk but like I said iam not doing match grade stuff just yet. Redding has then for 10-15 more than rcbs but lee is real cheap but may not be good? Getting real close to giving her the onion.

As someone said, its usually so they can clearly see the same aiming point through the whole string of shots. If you pump three 30 cal holes into a 3/4" center aiming point, it become fuzzy if not essentially obliterated. When it comes time to do your final sight in, then you turn the turret for center/center POI/POA.

Don't overthink it.

Get some RCBS, Redding, or Lee dies and start reloading. Purchase and read a printed reloading manual thoroughly such as Sierra, and take notes. . . . then come back and ask questions.

I often full length resize much of my brass due to simplicity and availability to use in multiple rifles. All factory ammo is sized at a full-resized dimensions and usually performs well.

If you want to get into more specifics and possible precision of reloading then neck sizing dies are nice, and bumping back shoulders help preserve brass life, but not are not needed.

Please post your messages in defined sentences, or paragraphs. Your posts are filled with run-on sentences and are very difficult to read.

Reloading in the house is fine in my book, in fact I would consider it better because the powder stays in a controlled environment as opposed to wide temp and humidity swings.

If my groups are off target, it's because I just roughed zero in getting on paper and was doing a group test to see if the load is good or not. If so, I will then use my ten shot group center to adjust and confirm a true zero.

I purposely use Hornady Custom Grade dies for all my bolt gun reloading, they're cheap, easy to use, and produce perfectly fine ammo.

Ok so this is my first try and I won’t lie, I don’t know exactly what I have and my plan isn’t very well thought out.

My rifle has been shooting terrible (iam bad too) I was sure it was me but today when I did my “powder ladders “ test i was surprised that I was shooting in a much smaller area.

I don’t know if iam right or not but it’s an exciting possibility to me!

I did .2 over maximum recommended load and down .2 a total of 10 rounds. I did this with two recipes from the powder manufacturers books. Each cartridge bullett is .020 off jam (no seating depth variation)

I have an affordable old style chronograph so no cool read out or graphs . Not only that several shots read an error.

Hopefully there’s enough information here that you may help me understand what to test next. I loaded all the powder with an automated style machine . So I just choose to trust it. Hopefully it worked well enough I can carry on trying a few more . If this is failed or could be done better would you be willing to explain. I had a lot of fun doing it .

Those ladder groups look pretty good to me, if you didn't get any signs of pressure I would load 10 of each at the same charge near max, and see how those group. You might have developed 2 good shooting loads on your first attempt, lol.
