For those you own a gunwerks clymr stock, would you ever consider selling it? I love the ergonomics of it for a hunting stock. Lately I have been using a rifle with a manners ph stock. I like this stock as well, but more than anything it's been great for my kids to be able to shoot off of a tripod.

My daughter just passed hunter safety, and I'm looking forward to hunting with her. The rifle caliber in the clymr stock would be better for her recoil wise, but then I lose the steadiness of attaching directly to a tripod.

So this brings me to my question above. Gunwerks no longer offers the stock outside of their rifle systems. I contemplated putting an arca plate on the stock, but the stock just isn't wide enough for it to blend in well. Hate to get rid of it though, but two stocks for one rifle is silly.

My plan is to get a manners ph for the rifle. In what application would having the adjustable cheek option a plus? The rifle currently has a NX8 4-32 for the scope.

Manners with a flat comb and negative toe line is not great for recoil management. Consider a McMillan Mtn Tracker long range. It's rockstok-esq body lines, lighter, and integrated Pic rail for your kids shooting. Alos you can get it in ANY config or LOP you want. Adjustable cheeks arent necessarily in 90% of setups.
