Question on Kuiu Pants Length

I see KUIU pants only come in 34” inseam. If the are hemmed to 30” length would that put pockets to low on the leg?

I wear 30" length typically and the pockets don't seem low at all. I had my KUIU hemmed to 32" though for a little extra length so they don't pull up over the height of my boots when I sit down. I just didn't want to be walking on them if bare foot or in camp shoes.

Hemming doesn't affect the pocket to waist measurement. Just takes length off the bottom.

That's not what he's saying. He asked if hemming would put the pockets too low. As if hemming lowered them. How would taking length off the bottom lower the pocket? Put the pants on while they're long, and see where the pocket is. Take some length off the bottom of the leg, and see where the pocket is. Hasn't changed. He asked if hemming put them too low on the leg. Hemming would not make them any lower. Hell turn em into shorts! Pocket still in the same spot.

Short guy problems. . .I hate when cargo pockets are not on my thighs but banging my knees. Also the pants with knee pads end up shin guards for me.

I'm 5 Ft nothing and could probably rock a 28 inseam. I have an old pair of attacks(canadian Made) and older pair of tiburons. The pocket lay out has not bothered me. I tend to stay away form any of the knee padded pants due to the shin guard issue.

I have a buddy that may be slightly taller than me wears a smaller waist, has Kuiu pants with knee pads and they seem to be in the right place for him.

BTW all Kuiu pants are 34" inseam. There's no "longer" pants.
