Question on blackhorn 209

They claim you don’t need to run breech plug grease with bh209. For those that have used it, is this true? Or do you still run a little grease on the breechplug?

I run some shotgun choke grease on it. Works like a champ.

I lube out of habit but use very little. Some use Teflon tape.

I like Teflon tape 3f 777 ,Works good ..

Very little grease. BH 209 is the only thing to use. Nothing else comes close.

I ran grease when I used it. To be completely honest, I did not see as much of a difference between Blackhorn 209 and Hodgdon's Triple 7 as is commonly advertised- it was still hard to reload without cleaning the bore, and the (BH 209 specific) breech plug still became fouled after only a few rounds.
