Hey folks,

I was given a few boxes of ammo that have seen better days. It appears they got wet and were never dried off.

Are these still ok to shoot or should I stay away from them?

It’s for a 6.5 prc. The brand is Hornady if that matters.

I put a new cartridge from a box on the right and the one in question on the left

I'd just go shoot them. I don't polish brass, I wipe it off, reload, and shoot. Shiny doesn't mean it shoots good.

I would clean them just so the corrosion doesnt get in your gun but in terms of being unsafe you should be fine, the only worry is if you have a good primer strike and it doesnt go off that some moisture could be slowing down the burn and it could go off after a delay but that is a very slim chance.
