Let's hear everyone's experience with these broadheads!

I am thinking of hunting these this upcoming elk, deer, bear season. How was your flight, penetration and sharpness?

My girlfriend shot her bull this year with an Exodus. 45lb draw weight, 27 inch dl, 390 grain FMJ at 25-30 yards. Arrow broke off at the fletching on the off side. Bull went 100 yards with a decent blood trail that started at POI.

They are excellent heads, sharp and bows seem to tune well with them considering their size. They are sharp and durable. The only negative I see would be the blade over shaft could be an issue with some set ups if your drawing close to the rest.

Make sure you check to see if the swept blades are legal in the states you will be hunting in. Some states they aren't.

I've set them up and tuned them with great results. They fly incredibly well and are a tough head. Wouldn't hesitate to use them.

Just switched over to exodus last year, they flew great out to 60 yards, never shot any further. Harvested 2 deer both a buck and doe and neither went more than 40 yards. Going to stick with them this year as well.

I killed a boar with them , sold them because i cut my arrows to short and didnt like them over my hand as they sit back over the shaft. Got new arrows and am back using them .

I think they are great heads. Mine flew great. I did have one issue though that was my fault but wanted to mention. I missed a shot at an elk, first shot at an elk and I got excited.... Thanks to a lighted knock I found the arrow had traveled through grass and lightly stuck in the base of a tree about 100 yards away. I pulled it out and noticed one of the blades had kicked out and back and was wedged in my arrow. The head or blades didn't look bad at all, but it ruined my arrow. With some of my other non swept back broadheads I think if any thing they would have bent a blade instead of damaging the arrow. I called Exodus and they sent me a replacement head even though I told them I shot into a tree so CS is good.

Great broadheads....Also QAD has great customer service if you need anything. I had a defective head when I first purchase them. They sent me a new pack and I have loved them since.

I consider them to have the best overall balance of slight, cutting diameter, edge retention, ferrule strength and penetration of any replaceable blade head on the market. I've taken over 40 animals with them so far, including big African plains game and bull elk, and they've always performed flawlessly. I've shot them out to 90 yards and found them to group with Slick Tricks.

Great to hear all the positive experiences. It has helped confirm my attraction to this broadhead design. Will give the 100 GR full blade model a shot on my FMJ injexion arrows here in a few weeks.

All three complete pass throughs. No recovery longer than 100 yards. Safe to say I like them and I'll keep using them.

I will say that I have missed and tagged a rock dead on. It forced one of the blades into the shaft, it ruined the arrow. I've heard of other people having the same issue when they impact a similar object.

That is the downside of the Full model. That doesn't happen with the Swept. And the Swept are every bit as strong as the full, because the blades are just as wide at their thinnest point.

Swept blades aren't legal here in AK. They're considered "barbed" which is illegal by ADF&G. Otherwise, I'd certainly be using them.
