They sent me the repair cost just a few days after receiving the scope. $175. Seems fair enough to me.

I paid for the repair on December 9th. Scope was returned January 19th. Looks good as new.

Scope mfgrs need a box to check on the how did it happen part of the warranty claim. All the way at the bottom. A box that says @Formidilosus 'Nuff said

sold a lot of swaro optics and I've seen them come in from people with African big game calibers who wanted to save a little and mount them themselves and wreck the tube when they slip in the rings bad. like aluminum curls coming off or pieces of tube missing and worst I ever saw them charged was maybe $125 for a full tube replacement and usually they never paid a dime. still have them and love them but know their limits
